Arrival in Genga – Walk up the main road until you reach the entrance to the Frasassi Caves, in the gorge of the same name. Guided tour of this authentic wonder of creation with its rooms similar to underground cathedrals, adorned with stalactites and stalagmites, which extend for 18 kilometers inside the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Regional Park, an oasis of greenery , rich history and art. Upon exiting the caves, we will continue to visit the sulphurous water source and the Frasassi Gorge, 3 km long, characterized by a large presence of massive limestone, the result of the innumerable stratifications created in about 190 million years. Return to the car park and visit the adjacent Romanesque church of San Vittore alle Chiuse after which the possibility of free time and shopping.

Meeting at the bus parking spot and departure for the Sanctuary Cave. Inside this large was built the chapel of Santa Maria Intrasaxa, a Benedictine monastery in the Middle Ages. In the chapel there is a copy of the white marble statue of the Virgin and Child attributed to Canova and kept in the Genga Museum. Inside the cave, there is also the small temple of Valadier.
