Just two square kilometers in size, the country comprises the old town of Monaco, situated on the rock (Le Rocher), the new neighborhood of Montecarlo, the port and shopping district of the center, Condamine, and the neighborhood of Fontvieille , built under the botanical garden, gaining ground from the sea. Highlights include the Cathedral, the old town, the monumental Oceanographic Museum, with more than 90 tanks and one of the most interesting in Europe, the Place du Palais, with its cannons and bullets given by Louis XIV, which give it a certain air. of a small opera house and where the changing of the guard takes place punctually every day at 11:15 am. We also highlight the Palais du Prince, which can be partially visited, and the Forterese, built at the end of the 18th century at the most north-eastern point of the Rocher. We can admire the Little Opera, built by Charles Garnier, and we can also marvel at its famous Casino, perhaps the most famous in the world, and relax on the terrace of the Café de Paris, where the art of “seeing and being seen” is cultivated. . Departure in the morning towards Vence, a town located just 10 kilometers from the sea, which, however, gives the feeling of being completely in another world, “where Provenza begins” according to the locals. The modern part will impress us, with its new buildings that look nothing like Village Perche, where for many centuries peasants raised colonies like eagles’ nests on brave heights and fortified them with walls. The ancient nucleus stands out, surrounded by an elliptical wall with five doors, the Cathedral, the ancient temple of Mars and the Merovingian church. After the visit, we continued to St.
Paul de Vence, a town built in the 16th century as a border fortification and currently one of the most popular tourist attractions in France.
A pleasant place to walk around thanks to its sidewalks and restored houses with coats of arms, almost too beautiful, full of art galleries, crafts and shops. After free time for your visit, we will continue towards Cagnes, Le Cannet and arrival in Cannes. In the afternoon, we will visit this cosmopolitan city famous throughout the world for its Film Festival, which is celebrated annually in its Palais des Festivals, a modern glass and cement building. We can stroll along its promenade, the famous Croisette boulevard, to its old port, where fishing boats and luxury yachts are moored edge to edge. We will have free time to stroll along Rue d’Antibes, parallel to the Croisette and the city’s main shopping street. At the agreed time, return to Nice.

During the morning of this day we will take a panoramic tour of the Catalan capital to stroll through the streets of its famous Ensanche, a neighborhood designed by Cerdà in the shape of large apples with octagonal corners (chamfrán) that give it a checkerboard shape; where we will marvel at the works of the brilliant architect Antonio Gaudí, among which the La Pedrera building and especially the Sagrada Familia temple stand out; its Gothic quarter, with the Cathedral, the Town Hall, the Generalitat Palace, the church of Santa Maria del Mar and, above all, its Ramblas, “the only street in the world that never sleeps”.
